DeckTec designed and constructed this stunning, 424-square-foot mahogany second-story deck for a home in Aurora, Colorado. An inviting space for relaxation and entertainment, the wood deck features high-quality materials and thoughtful design elements throughout.
The custom mahogany deck has a curved 85-foot metal picket railing that adds safety, security and architectural interest, while mahogany stairs with a landing in the middle connect the second-story wood deck to the ground-floor patio. The stairs make it easy to move to and from one level to the other, ensuring convenient access to both areas.
To make the deck usable day and night, DeckTec installed energy-efficient low-voltage lighting. This increases visibility and safety during evening hours, creating the perfect place to dine or kick back with a cold drink.
