Administrative and Accounting Assistant:

We are seeking an Accounting-HR Assistant to join our team. TSkills

  • Administrative experience (Required).
  • Accounting experience (Required).
  • QuickBooks.
  • Customer service.

· Accounting software.

· Accounting Concepts and principals

· Excellent math and analytical skills.

· Strong reading and writing skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively.

· Strong working knowledge of Excel

Accounting Assistant Roles & Responsibilities

  • Use QuickBooks Online to post business, banking and credit card transactions. Verify data for accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain meticulous records of accounting and H.R. nature.
  • Practice and ensure timely data entry from email repository, bank and credit card data feeds
  • Assist in Time Sheet and Payroll Hours compilation for weekly Payroll processing.
  • Provide other clerical support necessary for the organization

Daily Duties

  • Data Entry and Matching of credit card and bank transactions.
  • Maintain Office Appearance & Organization
  • Email correspondence as needed and management of records
  • Maintain internal spreadsheets as needed.
  • Assist and support Accounting-HR function with daily office tasks as assigned and needed.
  • Input daily bookkeeping and record keeping such as ACH Payments and other Misc transactions
  • Verify bills against vendor statements

Work Location: In person

Experience:

  • QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Data entry: 1 year (Required)
  • 2 to 6 years of accounting-related work experience.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  • May need to access files, supplies, and equipment.
  • Work activity is performed in an office, open-partition, cubicle environment.
