Nothing about DeckTec is ordinary, so it makes sense that the composite decking product we choose to offer to clients goes beyond ordinary as well. Deckorators is a mineral-based composite decking product, produced by blending and stretching poly-propylene polymers (plastic) with calcium carbonite. In 1991 I was an upstart deck designer, determined to create a new type of deck, not the boring, square platforms that were ubiquitous along the growing Front Range, but a customized and personal outdoor environment.
